Special Parents Program
The Special Parents program is a home-based service for adults with a developmental disability (IQ score of less than 70 and significant impairment in daily functioning) who are parents or expectant parents. The children in these families may or may not have a developmental or emotional disability, but must be at risk for out of home placement due to issues related to the parent's limited abilities. Services include case management, mental health assistant, and individual/family/group therapy.
