Residential Services: Blue Water House
Located in Port Huron , the Blue Water House is a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents 6-18 years old with a cognitive disability (IQ less than 70) and who require extensive behavioral intervention. Master's Level Clinicians provide case management, family therapy, group therapy, occupational therapy services/groups, nursing and child psychiatric services.
Payment for room and board is often a concern for families because Medicaid does not pay for the $736.50 per month cost (2007 rates) to the group home provider.
