Access Customer Services Hotline: 888-225-4447

If you or someone close to you has a life-threatening mental health emergency, please go to your closest hospital emergency room, or call 9-1-1. A situation is considered a mental health emergency when a person is at immediate risk of seriously harming him/herself or someone else.

If you are considering making an initial phone call to determine if you're eligible for public mental health services and supports, you've taken an important step in asking for help.

The ACCESS Hotline, 888-225-4447 is available 24 hours a day in the event that you are experiencing a crisis that needs immediate attention. To see if you qualify for services through St. Clair County Community Mental Health, call our ACCESS hotline. Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If you don't qualify for services through CMH, we will direct you to another local agency that can help you.

Please have the following information ready before you call:

To get the best possible care, tell the CMH Customer Service Representative all about your mental health, including past hospital stays, treatments and medications. Federal law protects the privacy of the information you give.
