The Galley is St. Clair County CMH's innovative training kitchen and cafe. Under the guidance of Chef Jim Kokenyesdi, the Galley trains individuals who use CMH services for jobs in the food service industry. It also plays a crucial role in the agency's commitment to integrated health -- the idea that good mental health hinges upon good physical health and vice-versa. The Galley prepares nutritious, low-fat meals at highly affordable prices.
The Galley is located on the First Floor of the Administration Building at 3111 Electric Avenue in Port Huron. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., serving beverages and bakery items; 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., serving lunch items.
