MI Family & Community Advisory Council![]()
The MI Family & Community Advisory Council is the officially designated citizens group with responsibility to advise, review and make recommendations to the St. Clair County Community Mental Health M.I. Family Services Division Director. The goal of the Council is to increase citizen participation in the community mental health services system and to improve the system's responsiveness to citizen needs. By doing so, it is also hoped that the assistance, support and sanction for mental health programs by individuals, their advocacy groups, their folk support systems, and communities will be strengthened.
The membership consists of St. Clair County citizens who are representative of individuals receiving CMH services, their families, advocacy organizations, human service agencies serving individuals with mental illness and other interested community members
